Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

myrtle beach boardwalk

There is a stretch of beach that runs from the 2nd Avenue Pier to the 14th Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach, parallel to the beach is a brand new boardwalk that will knock visitors over with its gracious beauty. The handsomely landscaped boardwalk winds its way along the natural serpentine path of the dunes. Activities are planned for the entire year and include Saint Patrick’s Day Parades, Memorial Day Activities and Oktoberfest.

One of the major attractions to the boardwalk will be the “Hot Summer Nights Weekly Events.” Seven nights per week there will be a free event going on some where along the beautiful new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Sunday nights you will be able to see street performers. Monday night a special event for kids of all ages, the Kids’ Carnival. Tuesday and Saturday nights join visitors and locals alike to enjoy bands in the live concert series. Wednesday nights are time for “The Beach’s Best Fireworks Display”. New to Thursday nights are “Bagpipers on the Boardwalk” and on Friday nights the new strolling Dixieland Band.

Many of Ocean Boulevard’s restaurants and shops have opened their doors to the rear so guests can enjoy them from the boardwalk. Looking for the world’s best lemonade? Near 5th Avenue North is Luna’s Lemonade Stand with fresh lemonade to quench your thirst. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a must stop on any visit to the Grand Strand.
